Despite the name, Lanikai Juice can be found in two other areas of Oahu. There’s one on the North Shore, as well as another in Kahala. Both are a spin off of the original Lanikai Juice, located right in the heart of Kailua.
That means, if you’re craving a smoothie or an acai bowl, you don’t have to drive all the way to this windward Oahu town to get one. But rather, you could drive about 10 minutes from Waikiki to Kahala for a cool and refreshing treat. Whenever we cruise the North Shore, I make sure to stop by Lanikai Juice in Haleiwa so I can get a Waimanalo Blues smoothie. Mmmm…
Writing this makes me want one right about now. It’s another humid day in Hawaii, with minimal tradewinds blowing through my house. Ahh, how much we take the tradewinds for granted sometimes. Luckily, the beach and Lanikai Juice Kahala are just 10 minutes away. I think I just might have to get one.
I support this local business because it not only offers a menu of fresh and local ingredients but also because Lanikai Juice promotes healthy living. While on vacation, it’s so easy to forget about our diets or our health, for that matter. We indulge in high-caloric foods, which is fine from time to time, but when it’s every meal, every day of the trip, that’s when it can become an issue.
