Exotic Places to Stay in Hawaii

Hawaii itself is exotic, but if you dig a little deeper you’ll discover the truly unusual places to stay in Hawaii.  What many find most striking about Hawaii is its tropical beach scene, but what about the lush rainforests of Kauai, the rocky volcanic coastline of Big Island or the wide, open country sides of Maui?  It is the unique within the unique that makes for an unforgettable getaway, and believe us when we say, Hawaii is the best place to find this!

Many visitors wish to see the popular parts of Hawaii; Waikiki beach, Lahaina, Maui, Poipu, Kauai… but there is so much more to each of these islands than their trendy destinations.  Think outside the box and travel to the remote areas of an island, or plan to visit one of the less traveled islands of Molokai or Lanai.  Go beyond the snorkeling and surfing activities and go zip lining, ATVing, or remote hiking.  As a truly exotic place to vacation, we’ve gone beyond what’s expected and offer clients an authentic experience.

A few top exotic destinations by islands are:

Oahu-
The Kahala Resort & Spa, an exclusively private retreat that sits atop secluded     beaches.
The north shore, specifically Turtle Bay Resort, private home rentals, or the     backpacker’s hostel near Waimea Bay.
Kauai-
Any rental, resort, or hotel in Hanalei, on Kauai’s north shore.
Any home rental in the lush parts of Kalaheo, Kauai’s southwest mountain area.
Kahili school cottages in the mountains outside of Koloa.
Maui-
Travaasa Hotel in lush Hana, an incredibly exotic retreat that will completely amaze     you.
Maui Moonlight Garden Bed & Breakfast, located in Upcountry’s expansive country.
Big Island-
Exotic Treehouse, at the Kilauea Volcano offers a uniquely authentic tree house     experience, in the lush luxury of the rainforest.
Fairmont Orchid Hawaii along the Kohala coast along a white sand lagoon.
Lanai-
This island is inherently exotic, with only two resorts to stay at, the
    Manele Bay Hotel
    Lodge at Koele
Molokai-
Molokai Komohana, a bed & breakfast that represents the exotic cottages of Historic     Hawaii.

So if you’re looking to find something truly exotic and unique within Hawaii, these recommendations are sure to satisfy you.  Whether you hope to find it through secluded hideaways, expansive beaches, complete luxury, or tropical rainforests, this guide will point you in the direction towards your ideal exotic destination.

Cool, I stayed at Hotel Hana Maui in 2007… didn’t realize it had changed its name. Stunning, I love Maui so much.
