Staying safe on your Hawaii Vacation

You won’t read many "warnings" when you peruse travel magazines, read ads and visit Web sites that seek to lure you and your family to Hawaii.  Hey, that’s what we do, too: encourage you to visit the islands, then help you get here and make your stay as comfortable as possible after you’ve arrived.  But there are some things you really should be aware of.  This is a state full of people.  Our largest industry is … well, you.  There are shady characters who target visitors, thinking you are easy, defenseless marks ripe for the picking.  And there are natural perils, just as there are in any other place in the country.
