Great podcast. Being military I can honestly say that the military rates dont always beat wholesale rates at hotels because believe me I check AND sometimes because you pay less they are going to give you the not so good room sometimes. Last time I did it..I got to hear jack hammering above my head for a week! Hale koa of course being different. And bruce you are right sometimes it is cheaper. The way the hale koa works is the amount you pay depends on your rank. The higher ranking you are the more you pay for your room. Great advice on hotel prices for other islands though…keep up the good work!
