Aloha Bruce and Emmy Award winning television personality Lanai Tabura talk about romance and romantic locations in Hawaii on the newest Hawaii Vacation Connection Podcast. Right at the top of the podcast, Lanai notes “you can find romantic views from a parking lot.” Hawaii’s beauty is everywhere.
After a brief discussion about the Emmys and how the awards work, Bruce and Lanai discuss romantic locationsin Hawaii. Lanai talks about Shark’s Cove on Lanai, steeped in Hawaiian legend, where several friends have gotten engaged. Lanai offers his unique local perspective of Lanai. The Four Seasons and Manele Bay are noted as deeply romantic.
Aloha Bruce talks about “From Here to Eternity Beach”, where he proposed to his wife Yaling. Bruce and Lanai discuss the popularity of Hawaii as a destination for wedding proposals. Goat Island on Oahu’s Windward Side is noted is also popular.

Bruce says the Road to Hana on Maui is much more accessible than in the past and recommends Tantalus, just outside of Honolulu is noted for its views and Kahana Beach on Oahu’s North Shore is discussed as highly romantic and secluded. Lanai suggests going on a weekday, when it is usually practically empty.
Bruce talks about Oahu getting a “bad rap” in online reviews because of the number of visitors, but there are many secluded, romantic locations in Hawaii on Oahu’s Leeward Coast.
Bruce talks about Kauai’s appeal to honeymooners and a Na Pali Coast Cave tour. Secret Beach is also recommended for couples looking for romantic locations. The Wailua River is recommended as a great way to spend a date.
