If you’ve ever golfed Kauai’s famous courses, then you probably know Poipu Golf Course was ranked Tiger Wood’s favorite. Golf Magazine released their biennial 2012 Best Courses You Can Play list, with Kauai courses holding 4 of the top 8 slots on the Best-Of state rankings. And of the top 100 courses listed in the magazine, Prince Course at Princeville Golf Club in Hanalei ranked #16 and ranked #1 in the state. Following this course in the state rankings is Makai Golf Club at Princeville (5), Kauai Lagoons Golf Club (7), Poipu Bay Golf Club (8) and Puakea Golf Course (17).
20 of the 90 Hawaii state-wide courses were named in the Golf Magazine 2012 Best Of list, with nearly all of them undergoing recent renovations and enhancement projects, likely helping them rank in the magazine’s list.
