This weekend we had the opportunity to stay at a resort on the Windward side of Oahu called the Paradise Bay resort. Out of the hustle and bustle of busy Waikiki this property is tucked away in one of my most beautiful areas on the island. While it has a bed-and-breakfast feel you’ll also find a lot amenities that resorts have. There’s continental breakfast daily, maid service and complementary activities such as kayaking, paddleboading and surfing.

On Saturdays you can take a free excursion out to the popular Kaneohe Bay sandbar, on Wednesday nights there’s Hawaiian music and on Saturday nights they have complementary Mojito’s at sunset. Perfect for a Hawaii Family Vacation because you can get two, three and even five bedroom units. Most of the units have been recently renovated and are appointed with a beautiful Balinese theme.

If you want to get out of busy Waikiki and want the real tranquility that Oahu has to offer, this is certainly the place to have a majestic Hawaiian experience.
