This episode of the Hawaii Vacation Connection takes place on Aloha Friday and discuss some of Hawaii’s top vacation news. You’ll also listen to our recent chat with local musician Makana, find out about Kualoa Ranch on Oahu’s North Shore and learn what type of vacations have been booked to Hawaii in the past 24 to 48 hours by Hawaii-aloha.com agents.
Oahu hotels reported the highest occupancy in the state this week, with the average room rate in Waikiki at $152. Statewide the average room is $187.47 which is somewhat high, but thankfully we’re seeing some good specials coming up like ‘3rd night free’ and ‘4th night free’ at select hotels.
The Hilton Hawaiian Village is undergoing some restoration to their property including adding 2 more timeshare towers and increasing the retail and restaurant space.
Bruce and Yaling explored Kualoa Ranch last week, which is located in the rural country space of Oahu’s north side. From rainforests to valleys to cliff faces, this outdoor paradise is wonderful for recreational activities like ATVing, horseback riding, luaus and tours of the property. Check out the clips and interviews of Kualoa Property on hawaii-aloha.com.
Finishing off this podcast Bruce and Yaling will detail the recent vacations that have been booked through their travel agents, starting off with a family of 2 traveling from Salt Lake City to Honolulu for $2,266 booked by Melissa. Next one is for 2 people traveling to Honolulu for $1,988 in June, staying at the Park Shore Waikiki with an ocean view room. Hawaii-aloh.com’s agent Paul recently booked a honeymoon package with a multi-island destination for two, including ocean view rooms, a rental car, a luau, sunset cruise, champagne and much more, all for only $4,692!
