Aloha and welcome to another episode of the Hawaiian Vacation Connection. February 12th, 2010 brings a lot to you today such as podcast listener questions, Hawaiian Airlines’ new routes, Waikiki site inspections and packages that have been recently booked to the islands.
Our first podcast listener question has to do with families bringing kids to Hawaii. Janet would like some information about excursions that would appeal to elementary school students and will use the information for her own family vacation plus curriculum in schools. Some recommendations are the Honolulu Zoo, Bishop Museum’s bug program and other kid’s programs and Maui Ocean Center.
Hawaii has new daily flights and announced they’re going tobegin daily Oakland to Maui and San Diego to Maui flights in June with great introductory fares. Start planning your summer vacation now! Hawaii Aloha Travel wants you to get the best deal so when prices adjust, so will ours!
The newly renovated Ohana Waikiki Malia is located in the heart of Waikiki and a great option for travelers coming to Oahu. The hotel has created a sophisticated, upscale feel and the new pineapple shaped chandelier is simply stunning in the entrance of the hotel. The upholstery and furniture now have earth tones and the court yard is a great place to relax. Although there is no pool, you can use the Ohana Waikiki East and Ohana Waikiki West pools.
Ending this podcast are some great packages that were recently booked by Hawaii Aloha Travel agents. A family of 2 traveling from Indiana to Honolulu and then to Maui got booked at Turtle Bay on Oahu and Wailea Marriott on Maui with a rental car, for the price of $3,347. Another family of 2 from Seattle is traveling to Maui in September and staying at the Royal Lahaina in Maui. They are receiving a luau for 2, sunset cruise for 2, chapange in their room and a convertible car all for approximately $3,000.
