The Waikiki Resort Hotel is an affordable hotel located just two blocks from the ocean in the heart of Waikiki. All 275 guestrooms and suites were remodeled in 2008 and feature mini refrigerators, high-speed internet access, separate work spaces with ergonomic chairs, and 32” LCD TVs. On-site amenities include an outdoor pool, mini-spa, gift-shop, and a tour desk.
Visitors looking for on-site dining may choose between authentic Korean fare at Seoul Jung and traditional American favorites at Ilima Restaurant. Dozens of additional bars and restaurants are located within blocks of the hotel and offer a wide variety of dining experiences. A business center with English, Japanese, and Korean computer facilities is open 24 hours per day and offers faxing, mailing, and copy services to all hotel guests.
The Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, International Marketplace, and several sought after shopping destinations are located just blocks away from the hotel lobby on Kalakaua Avenue, and an expansive duty-free shopping center is within walking distance as well. Outdoor enthusiasts can test out a variety of water sports on the Waikiki shore, or hop aboard a sunset cruise or whale watching tour at nearby locations.
The Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, and Kapiolani Park are all situated within a half-mile from the hotel, and Diamond Head Crater with its scenic historical hike is just 2 miles away. Bishop Museum, Hanauma Bay, Pearl Harbor, and many other well-known destinations are less than 15 miles from the hotel and are easily accessible via rental car, taxi, or public transit. Indoor and outdoor parking is available for $18 per day.
