"This hotel was recently renovated and is a great option in a good spot to come back to after a day of exploring magical Molokai.

Hotel Molokai is quiet and remote beachside hideaway on Molokai’s southern shore. The dog-friendly hotel is located on Kamilola Beach and close to Hawaii’s only barrier reef. Accommodations include bungalows decorated with contemporary island decor and outfitted with a modern kitchen appliances, WiFi internet access, and private lanais. Hotel amenities include a spacious pool, sun deck, and internet kiosks. Hula Shores, an oceanfront restaurant, offers poolside dining and live entertainment seven days a week. Guests staying at Hotel Molokai are invited to kick-off the weekend in style with the weekly Aloha Friday Sunset Celebration.

Kaunakakai, Molokai’s largest city, is just five miles away from the hotel and offers several dining options including Molokai Pizza Café and Molokai Burger. Nearby activities include scuba diving, whale-watching, fishing, and mule ride tours. Halawa Valley, located in eastern Molokai, is believed to be an ancient Polynesian settlement and boasts a 250-foot waterfall. Central Molokai is home to Kalaupapa National Historic Park and the Kalaupapa Peninsula. The national park features the tallest sea cliffs in the world, and housed the secluded settlement colony of Kalaupapa where father Damien established the parish of Saint Philomena and aided those afflicted with Hansen’s disease. Molokai’s western shore features Papohaku Beach, one of the largest white sand beaches in Hawaii. The Big Wind Kite Factory, another popular island attraction, is located in the small town of Maunaloa in western Molokai.
