With over 50 years of expertise in creating authentic entertainment, Smith’s Luau is an unforgettable experience on the Garden Island of Kauai. Honoring 4 generations of tradition, this genuine luau is bursting with activity. Located in the Wailua River Valley, you’ll enjoy lush scenery that is easy on any eye and a feast that remains at the heart of this adventure. Come taste the spirit of aloha and leave feeling like ohana (family) because at Smiths Luau, you’re sure to feel like part of the journey.
No luau is complete without some poi (Hawaiian taro) eaten local style using only two fingers. On the menu, you’ll also find kalua pork, fresh mahimahi, family secret recipe teriyaki beef, and mouthwatering chicken adobo. But before the feast, you’ll get to watch the traditional imu ceremony, as the pig is unearthed from the Hawaiian underground oven.
As you enjoy your plate full of local goodies, enjoy a show that is produced purely for your entertainment. Storytelling through songs, chants, and oral accounts will peak your interest and educate you on some of Hawaii’s beautiful culture. Watch as hula dancers sway their hips to the live music and Tahitian performers bump their grass skirts to the dramatic drumming. The thrilling Samoan fire knife dancers amuse guests with their practiced techniques and at the end of the show, you’re encouraged to get up and try out some of the moves yourself.
Come enjoy cocktails, music, live entertainment, and more at this Hawaiian festivity. With the love of music, food, and hula at the heart of this luau, you will experience the rhythm of aloha that makes Hawaii famous for its genuine warmth. Smiths Luau creates all this personally for you, so come make memories with Kauai’s most loved luau.
