The SpeediShuttle has been such a hit with travelers in need of a ride to and from the Honolulu airport that the company expanded its services to include airports on Maui, Kauai and the Hawaii Island.
The company announced its expansion of shuttles, drivers and airport greeters. Its fleet includes Mercedes Benz shuttles and chauffeured driven cars. They definitely shuttle travelers in style, with plenty of leg room and room for luggage.
Don’t be surprised, too, if you see employees greeting guests at the gates or baggage claim areas. The expansion has allowed for this but mostly, it eliminates the added stress. Before, the service was on an “on demand” contract with the state.
Now, they are available to whomever arrives. A couple of months after writing about the shuttle for the blog, I ended up riding it. It picked me up from my house in town and took me to the airport with plenty of room to spare. The driver was super friendly and told me the best part about his job was meeting new people from around the world. For me, the best part of the ride was the air conditioning!
