You can find locally-grown produce almost anywhere on Kauai, but for the really fresh stuff, check out a farmers market. In fact, Kauai loves its fruit and veggies so much, the community has at least one market a day. That’s almost unheard of in some places…but not in Hawaii. No matter which side of the island you’re venturing, there’s sure to be a market nearest you.
My personal favorite is the newer one at Kukuiula Shopping Village. I was able to grab some local jams and homemade breads during a recent trip to the island, which my family back home loved! Here’s where you, too, can try some Kauai-grown goods:
