Work at the Maui Westin Resort & Spa will continue until the Spring of 2020, and while guests may encounter some minor construction-related issues such as noise and closed amenities, the resort assures its guests that everything possible has been done to ensure “a complete sense of renewal”.
Most of the resort’s many facilities, pools and water features, amenities, wellness programs and activities for all ages remain open. A new resort shuttle to pristine West Maui beaches is also now available. Current shuttle services to the Westin’s sister resorts in Kaanapali and to historic Lahaina Town remain unaffected by renovations.
Among the new features and amenities to be revealed include a “revitalized aquatic playground” in the adults-only area, and a new family pool with waterslides and other features to open in early September. While some parts of the pool may be closed while the transformation takes place, guests will still be able to enjoy other parts of the pool unaffected by the work.
The multi-million dollar project includes new retail shops in the Beach Tower Lobby, redesigned outdoor spaces and footpaths within steps of Kaanapali Beachwalk. Also to be revealed are a new Beach Bar, and “transformed Westin Workout and spa wellness” spaces.

The transformations at Westin Maui Resort & Spa have re-imagined its interior spaces and lobbies, as well as offering a new level of luxury in its suites. Meeting and conference spaces are similarly seeing an approach to reflecting the resort’s natural surroundings. The design elements include highlighting the resorts views and ever-blue waters beyond the shore.
We here at Hawaii Aloha Travel can find you the best special offers at the Westin Maui Resort & Spa and open the doors for you to experience all the beauty and tranquility the resort and the Valley Isle offer visitors.
