Restaurant Week in Hawaii 2013

It’s the most delicious time of year again in Hawaii, when local eateries and foodies come together in celebration of their taste palates. The annual Restaurant Week happens right before Thanksgiving and offers an enticing array of not only local eats but discounts and promotions as well.

This year’s restaurant participants include: the Beachhouse at the Moana, Chef Chai, Nobu Waikiki, Diamond Head Market & Grill, Orchids at Halekulani, Salt Kitchen & Tasting Bar, Prima, 12th Ave Grill, Paina Cafe, Big City Diner, Alan Wong’s King Street and many more.

The good news for visitors is that the majority of these businesses happen to be very close to Waikiki – some within walking distance. Foodie or not, everyone has to eat! So why not score some deals while you’re at it? Not to mention, the special menus that surface during this week.

The weeklong celebration benefits the state’s first four-year culinary program at the University of Hawaii. And while most of the participating eateries are on Oahu, restaurants on Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island have joined in on the culinary fun as well.
