Hawaii’s history, culture and arts get packed into a brand new event called “Two Museums and a Royal Palace Weekend.” The collaborative effort brings together the Bishop Museum, Honolulu Museum of Art and Iolani Palace, creating a broadened experience for visitors and locals.
I love this idea and can’t figure out why it hasn’t happened sooner. The weekend museum crawl combines the best of the best in sharing the islands’ unique culture with all ages. Those interested may purchase passes that are good for visiting all three. Locals pay $10, and visitors pay $19.95. That’s a steal, since admission to the three venues would normally cost around $50.
