Tattooing is an art form that has gone from cultural to mainstream within decades. This exhibit showcases Hawaii’s high-quality tattoo art and how it developed into a mix of the islands’ cultures.
32ND ANNUAL CULTURAL FESTIVAL (Big Island)

PAIA MANTOKUJI MISSION OBON FESTIVAL (Maui)

Where: Maui – Paia Mantokuji Mission, 5636 Hana Hwy.
Traditional Okinawan Obon festival. “Obon” literally means lantern festival; hence, the colorful hanging lights that cast a glow over the event. Enjoy this cultural celebration with none other than andagi, an Okinawan donut.
NORTH SOUTH EAST WEST FESTIVAL (Maui)

Contemporary music and multimedia performances by classical and jazz musicians, artists and dancers. This day’s event presents “Piano Synergy.” A master composer creates a piece for four pianos.
