茂宜島
拉海納鎮 （Lahaina） 位於茂宜島西北方，是昔日的捕鯨基地，而今也是茂宜島歷史及商業中心。在Lahaina街上可以看到整排完整且深富古味的矮小木造建築，在此漫步，可謂人生一大享受。每年十一月開始，在Lahaina Harbor碼頭可以遠眺在海上的鯨魚，極為壯觀。在鎮上，有一棟木造二層樓飯店–Pioneer Inn，有百年歷史卻維持原有古舊風貌。在 Front Street 上， 還可以看到早期中國移民所建造的致公堂（Wo Hing Temple）， 堂內展示中國人的生活方式和歷史文物，在鎮上的Baldwin Home 是早期 Baldwin牧師來到此地所住的房子，頗具特色。鎮上有一種環繞市區的紅色雙層巴士，外觀寫著 Sugar Cane Train，可以免費載你到 Lahaina 車站。在車站付美金10元，即可搭乘由車站開往北邊 Kaanapali 的古老蒸汽火車，是以前甘蔗田中的主要運輸工具。

伊奧山谷（Iao Valley）距離Lahaina約l5分鐘車程，是個古戰場，而今成為靜謐的公園。Iao Needle針山一柱擎天。　
哈雷卡拉火山（Haleakala Crater）是世界最大的死火山，高達四千公尺，有如月球表面。目前是火山國家公園，有觀察站在此。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
茂宜熱帶平原（Maui Tropical Plantation）位於茂宜島頸部的Waikapu Valley。目前是一個商業性的展示中心，可在此搭乘園內火車，了解多種熱帶農作物，如咖啡、火山豆及各式水果。　　　　　　
Kaanapali 及 Wailea渡假區在茂宜島南北各有一個海灘渡假區。Kaanapali位於西北方，離Lahaina約 10分鐘車程。許多國際觀光飯店沿海而立，以金色沙灘和綿延山脈為背景，是名符其實的渡假勝地。另一個位於西南方的 Wailea是新開發的渡假區，許多豪華級飯店都在這一區，例如 Grand Hyatt、Four Season ，這些精心設計的飯店也成為觀光客喜愛遊覽的地方，從 Wailea 可遠眺 Molokini 珊瑚礁島。
