Cruising Hawaii - Is there enough land time?

Today we answer a question from Fran who wants to  know if there really is a lot of land time on a 7 day cruise.  We go over how to get the most out of a Hawaii cruise vacation and offer tips and suggestions.

On the surface it seems like a great idea right?  Well, think twice if you plan on taking a rental car on the Superferry between Oahu and Maui and leaving it on the island you take it to.  You’ll pay a hefty drop-off price.  Superferry officials proudly announced its acceptance of rental cars last week and told consumers to contact the individual car-rental companies for details.  Well, that’s exactly what we did and we found out the extra fees involved in taking a rental car onto the ferry on a one-way basis range from $200 to $500!
