Finding affordable accomodations on Oahu
We’re back from our vacation and today we talk about finding affordable accommodations on the island of Oahu. Yesterday we had the good fortune of visiting several Aqua properties located in Waikiki. they offer several hotels ranging from $70 to $250 all at a great value. We talk about the ones that we recommend and give our honest feedback on some of these budget properties. We go over the various options and the pros and cons of booking budget vacations to Hawaii. We also answer a podcast listener question and discuss how long you should plan for a multi-island trip as well as activity recommendations. We go over packages that have been booked in the last 24 to 48 hours which will give you an idea of how things are pricing out for Hawaii vacations.

Today we talk about the latest travelers choice awards which names two Hawaiian Islands in the top 10 list. On the island of Kauai, the Poipu area on the south side of the island was the #4 pick on the list . With its beautiful sandy beaches, nice hotels and restaurants nearby, there’s no wonder Poipu made the list. Over on Maui, Lahaina was chosen # 9, this are is on the west side of the island and also a great choice because of its diversity and awesome beaches. We also go over family packages that have been booked in the last 24 to 48 hours which should give you a great idea on what a family vacation will cost of Hawaii this year.
