With all the news lately about bankruptcies and fuel charge increases people are beginning to wonder if air fares are just too high to come to Hawaii.  Today we talk about this important issue and discuss price increases and offer ways that you can still come to Hawaii and get a great value.  For the most part,  fuel charges are all ticket based which means that the increases to Hawaii are the same as everywhere in the country. In reality Hawaii is no more expensive than any other destination with regard to fuel charge increases, in fact,  you get more bang for your buck because you actually get to come all the way to Hawaii for the same amount of money.  We’re also seeing great values from the hotels being offered with some lowering their prices and others adding free nights.  We also talk about packages that have been booked in the last 24 hours and go over pricing of these packages and welcome new customers to our Ohana (family)

It’s not the airfare, it’s the lousy fuel surcharge that makes flying prohibitive. Still, Hawaii is still my pick for being one of the very best cruising regions on earth.
