The Pride of Hawai’i ends its weekly interisland cruise service today and begins its journey for a new assignment in Europe, leaving in its wake a lost economic opportunity that could amount to as much as $542 million a year, according to a state analysis. An estimated 940 Pride of Hawai’i crew members are part of the NCL family and have been offered positions on other NCL or NCLA ships including Pride of America, Pride of Aloha, the reflagged ship and the balance of the NCL international fleet.

Aloha Oe Pride of Hawaii…we shall miss you. This was an excellent cruise and I’m so thankful that I got to go on her before she left. The crew was awesome..we were on the storm chaser cruise in december (was a freak storm that blew through) but it was still a great cruise and I wouldn’t have changed anything about it…it wasn’t a vacation it was an adventure (yes my husband is in the navy!). The captain did a great job of finding us sunny patches and calmer waters so we could enjoy the ships amenities…even though it was rough it still was not bad at all! My son (6 years old) still raves about it to everyone…”we get to go to the cafeteria and we dont’ even have to pay” is what he says about the buffet. I’m glad I decided to do this for him for his birthday…it will be one he will never forget.

The cruise on the Pride of Hawaii was Amazing! Great Food, Great Staff, and Extremely Clean! I have already recommended it to family members which will be taking the Pride of America cruise in April! The cruise around the Hawaiian Islands is a great way to try the cruise experience for the first time (as I did) due to it being ported everyday so you get cruise life, but you also get to see all the sites of Hawaii for a very reasonable price!
Book your cruise with Chris as she has vast knowledge of it and was an amazing travel agent for my adventures at sea!
