March 3, 2009 - Norwegian Cruise Line today unveiled the first images of its new 153,000-gross ton, 4,200-passenger Norwegian Epic, the company’s largest and most innovative Freestyle Cruising ship to date. Currently under construction at STX Europe in St. Nazaire, France, the contemporary, balcony-rich, 19-deck ship will be 1,068 feet long, 133 feet wide, with a draft of 28.5 feet when completed in May 2010.
Five of the distinct hotspots for NCL’s next generation of Freestyle Cruising ship, Norwegian Epic, were revealed at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. From Riviera chic and Ibiza style to Miami trendy and Vegas flair, the Norwegian Epic’s nightclubs will create never-before-seen experiences at sea and feature multiple uses for day or night, along with exclusive, adult-only venues.

"ICE BAR" inspiried by the original Ice Bars and Ice Hotels in Scandanavia, the cruise industry’s first true "Icebar" is the ultimate chill.

"SPICE H20", the adults only complex, located at the back of the ship on decks 15 and 16, features a huge screen displaying vibrant video images combined with dynamic music to create a truly unique experience. day or night.
