Visit Kaiona Beach Park On Your Next Hawaii Vacation
Kaiona Beach Park is located on the windward coast of the Island of Oahu. It is a great beach for families including young children. This beach has soft white sand and calm waters. The average year round water temperature is 74 degrees.
This beach has a boat ramp used for small boats. There are picnic tables, bathroom, showers and parking. I often take my children to this beach and picnic with family.
We celebrated my son’s 5th birthday at Kaiona and it was a nice day and the ocean was beautiful. 
If your celebrating some special occasion and want to spend it at the beach, this is a great opportunity.
For big parties and picnics, it is recommended to get a permit from the City and County Parks and Recreation Department. If your party is less than 100, there is no fee or deposit. If you have 100 or more in your party, you will need a $100 deposit.
If your visiting the Island of Oahu and have already seen the North shore beaches, take some time to visit Kaiona on the Eastern shore.
