My family and I stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki over this past Mother’s Day weekend.  This property is located right on Waikiki Beach.  Every guest is greeted with a lei upon arrival.  Adults get a fresh flower lei and children get a cool candy/toy lei.

With 1,695 rooms and suites this is one of the bigger hotels in Waikiki.  Over two-thirds of the rooms and suites directly face the Pacific Ocean.  The rooms come with either 1 king or 2 double beds.

The room categories vary from Mountain View to Deluxe Ocean Front.  We were fortunate to have stayed in an Ocean Front room which I absolutely love and highly recommend.

The Ocean Front rooms offer full views of the ocean from inside the room.  The highlight of my stay was being able to see the ocean from inside the shower.  The bathroom has a window that opens up to the room.  The shower has a clear see-through curtain at the top which allows you to see the ocean.  It was beautiful, breathtaking and the ultimate relaxation for me on Mother’s Day!
