Marriott Waikiki Site Inspection

As a Travel Agent I love to learn about all the products I sell so that I can pass that information on to you when I book your vacation. Vendor’s such as Hotels allow Travel Agents to inspect their properties to familiarize ourselves with the different room categories and amenities.
I just did a site inspection of the Waikiki Marriott and was very impressed in the soft renovations they have completed. You might ask what is a "soft" renovation. In hotel terms that is when the hotel changes the decor, changing our bedding, carpeting, draperies and sometimes furniture. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious…all room offer that wonderful Island Flair.
The hotel has 1,310 room including 13 suites with private balconies and is located right across the street from the Beach. Actually, you are only a cross walk away from the beach (about 10 - 15 steps away).
Here is a link to the Marriott and a slide show that was put together from the site inspection.
We offer excellent rates at this property. Call or Email me with your travel dates and lets see if we can accommodate you at this wonderful hotel.

Society of Seven Show

This past weekend, I was treated to see the Society of Seven Show in Waikiki. What an excellent show. I remember going to see the original group back in the 80’s and I have never grown tired of seeing them. The group is a new set of guys with the same high spirited and high energy performance. The show consists of impersonations and comedy acts, Broadway show tunes along with today’s popular hits. I recommend this as one of your activities when visiting the island of Oahu

The show is held at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach Hotel-Main Showroom.  The Hotel is located on the beach and is within walking distance or a short ride from all Waikiki hotels.

“Top Ten Oahu”

Here are some fun and exciting things to do while in Honolulu on the Island of Oahu.

1. Luaus-Oahu is home to three fun, traditional luaus for you to enjoy…"Germaine’s Luau", "Paradise Cove Luau", "The Royal Hawaiian Luau".  It doesn’t matter which Luau you choose, as long as you visit at least one while you’re here.

2. Pearl Harbor-Peal Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial are the most visited attractions on the island of Oahu. Visitors to the memorial see fottage of the actual Japanese attach and have the opportunity to pay their respects to the lost.

3: Ocean Encounters-Whether you want to commune with wild Dolphins (Dolphin Excursion) in their natural habitat, get up close and personal with ferocious sharks (Shark Encounters) or gaze at the brightly colored tropical fish (Tropical Ocean Fun Cruise), there’s an ocean adventure for you.

4. Polynesian Cultural Center-PCC offers visitors the rare chance to witness and participate in the traditions and daily adventures of authentic South Pacific Cultures.

5. Circle Island Tours- this 120 mile full day tour will circumnavigate the island of Oahu. You’ll sit back comfortably in an air-conditioned motor coach and visit everything from Diamond Head to the surfing beaches on the North Shore.

6. Cruises-Imagine standing on the deck of your luxury yacht, toasting the one you love with a glass of fine champagne as the sun sets. This dream becomes a reality every day aboard the Star of Honolulu.

7. Water Sports-Whether you want to swim, snorkel, splash, scuba, sail, jet ski, parasail, kayak or simply float peacefully on a raft. Oahu has it all.

8. Kualoa Ranch-an area that is still jungle and completely undeveloped. Here, you’ll find everything, from dense rainforests and open valleys to spectacular verdant cliffs and mountains. In ancient times, this land was one of the most sacred places on the island.

9. Helicopter Tours-As beautiful as Oahu is from the ground, you haven’t experienced it until you’ve seen it from above. There are a variety of tours sure to fit any budget, so don’t leave Oahu without seeing it first.

10. Shows-Oahu’s spectacular shows are equal to any Las Vegas production. On any given evening in Waikiki, you’ll be able to experience world-class illusions, spectacular arial acrobatics, incredible impersonations, captivating musical productions, and more.

Call me if I can assist you in booking anyone or all of these activities.
