Maunalua have been playing together for several years and have performed at events and locations from local weddings and parties, to the Waikiki Ho`olaulea, the Makaha Bash, Princeton University and the Smithsonian Institution. They have also been regular favorites at Roys Restaurant in Hawaii Kai, where they have acquired a strong and loyal following.
