Hi Abby, Thanks for your message and great tips.
......... I was thinking I may have been one of your more difficult customers with all the questions I asked. When I first started looking at the cruise I basically thought it was just a matter of choosing a cabin category and that was it! It was great to be able to pick the actual cabin based on your knowledge. As I mentioned before, it was your patience, expertise and prompt personal attention that made us comfortable booking through Hawaii Aloha Travel. I will review the confirmation and the other great information on your website and at NCL. Your blog pages had lots of useful information too. It's time to practice some ukulele* ; )* Peter, Australia

Hi Abby, Greetings from OZ!!! Thank you so much for your email, I also would like to thank you for your time and effort in assisting me with our booking – you were very patient and a delight to work with. It was great to actually speak to you finally!! The Moana Surfrider was truly beautiful. The first room we were assigned had partial ocean views and a fantastic balcony we could sit out on, the beds where magnificent and felt like we were sleeping on clouds. Our last night at Moana was a show stopper! They had upgraded us to full ocean view on the 5th floor – absolutely spectacular. The service provider by all staff could not be fault. All in all we both had a fantastic and relaxing time. The service you provided was sensational and made our trip very very easy. As mentioned earlier Abby, you were a delight and I will definitely utilise your service again and also recommend you to family, friends and colleagues. I will be back again next year Abby, same time of year for 2 weeks purely on Oahu! Stay tuned and watch this space!!! Please stay in touch. Regards, Jo.

Aloha Kalei, We are now back in rainy Ohio and again I wanted to say thank you for all the perfect planning you did on our trip! It went very smoothly. The accommodations were very nice and the timings in the airport were perfect -- all reservations were in place and everything was just beautiful! Thank you! We did take a tour (through Discover Hawaii Tours -- with Jonathan) to Hana I think that really showed all the beauty of Maui. We also did get to go to the lava watch site and that was amazing too. Again, Thanks!! Mahalo Tammy |

Kalei Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say THANK YOU! This is the first morning on Maui and so far this trip has been absolutely perfect. It is beautiful here. The contrast in the islands is unbelievable but you have to experience all of it. Thank you for your great planning. Mahalo Tammy

Thank you very much for helping to make our 50th anniversary celebration special and one that we will always remember. The Sheraton Resort on Maui was excellent, from the room to the food to the gorgeous sceenery, we couldn't have ask for anything more. Thanks again for your help in making all the arrangements. Should we ever decide to make another trip to Hawaii, you can rest assured we will not hesitate to give you a call. -Roy and Susan; Atlanta, Georgia

09/04/09 Aloha Ashley! We are sadly back from our trip to Hawaii. Both Vic and I would have liked to stay for another week! What an amazing time we had!!! It was so much more than I had ever imagined. The activities were so much fun and well planned. We were treated like VIPs whereever we went. Everything went very smoothly from the limo pick up at the airport to the incredible activities we did there in Oahu. The Hyatt was a beautiful hotel and they were very accommodating to anything we requested. We ended adding a few more excursions on our free days and the hotel made it extremely easy to do. It was great being shuttled around to all the activities without worry. It was such an adventurous yet relaxing vacation. Waikiki beach was just beautiful and had a lot going on everyday. It wasn’t as crowded as I anticipated. That was good. We had to adjust to “Hawaiian Time” but that did not take long. Everyone was just so easy going. I’m not even sure I could tell you my favorite part of the trip. Each day had it’s own great things. We loved the Polynesian Cultural Center with Luau – the Ambassador package was awesome. Sea Life Park was wonderful also. Thank you for scheduling the interactions with the sea lions and sting rays. That was a great surprise. In fact we both agreed that we like the sea lion interaction even better than the dolphin interaction. All were just fantastic. Pearl Harbor was a great experience as well as Hanauma Bay – I snorkeled for the first time. Awesome! The food was absolutely delicious everywhere. The buffet breakfast at the Hyatt was unbelievable! We really enjoyed the dinner at Dukes Restaurant at the Outrigger also. It was all just wonderful. Thank you for all your help and planning of our vacation. As you know, we were very apprehensive at first because we had never done this before. As soon as we arrived, our minds were put at ease because everything went so smoothly. We were a little worried on our way back home when we landed in Chicago and had to quickly make our way to another terminal way across the other side of the airport in a very short time –we did make it in time but it was a little nerve racking though. We have already decided that we would like to go back next year and bring our kids with us this time. Maybe we could try doing Oahu along with another island also. We were very impressed with all you did for us and would like your input on our future plans for next year. Thank you so much and we will be in contact with you to start planning for next year. We returned from our Hawaii cruise on Sat. nite. I want to say thanks for your help and patience. This was the first time in quite a while that I have made arrangements for travel and I was a real novice. In retrospect, it was a piece of cake. I was such a worry wart and I had so many questions. Now I know for the next time. Our trip was great. It worked well for my husband who is not much of a walker and I hope to go on another cruise sometime in the future. I hope you and your family are doing well. Aloha, Lynda Golden |

Jessie, Our trip to Oahu was incredible! At first I was intimidated about trying to plan a vacation to Hawaii. The choices are endless! Which island, what activities, where do we stay, where do we eat? Jessie, you were a life saver! I contacted you by email, and immediately you called and made everything so simple! I told you a little about my family and our preferences, and you recommended the PERFECT vacation for all 7 of us! The resort was the best part of the entire trip! We practically spent our whole vacation there, enjoying the view, the beach and great food! We didn’t want to have an itinerary full of activities each day, we just wanted to relax and enjoy the beauty of Oahu. You recommended a few things, and gave great advice on managing the crowded tourist areas. Thank you for making this a trip to remember! We made some lifetime memories with our children and I owe all the thanks to you! I have had several friends ask questions about planning a trip to Hawaii. I recommended calling you FIRST, before doing anything else. It is so easy after that. Even our flight there and back was great because you made sure we didn’t have too many stops. I would recommend flying first class though. I didn’t ask you about that until everything was already booked, and the first class was full so we couldn’t upgrade. It is a LONG way over there, and it would definitely be worth the first class ticket to have more room to stretch out. We plan on returning in the future, maybe to a different island this time. You will be the first person I call! Thanks, Dena |

Dear Ashley, I wanted to personally thank you for all the help and planning that you did to make Wendy and I’s vacation possible. We truly had one of the best weeks of our lives in Hawaii, and it was a life changing experience that we will never forget. There is absolutely no way that things would have gone as smoothly as they did for us had we not called you. The only complaint we had is that we were not able to stay longer! I know that you had expressed interest in hearing how our vacation went for some research into island hopping vacations. After experiencing a little flavor of each of the islands, we can definitely tell you that if exploring different environments/cultures and variety are important to people then this kind of trip is right up their alley. Granted, this kind of traveling requires more stamina than leisurely travel, but we are truly thankful that we got to experience so much in such a short time. The first three days of the trip were some of the most eventful and amazing days we’ve ever had; from Waimea Canyon, Spouting Horn, and the Napali Coast on Kauai to the Road to Hana, red sand beaches, snorkeling at Molokini, and sunset on top of Haleakala in Maui. At the end of each day we would seriously turn to each other and recount all that we had done in a single day, and then get really excited when we realized that we still had the better part of a week left in Hawaii!! Things started to slow down a little once we reached the Big Island, but our time was no less exciting and we were no less amazed. From a helicopter tour of the active lava flows and a few waterfalls to exploring the Volcano National Park and hiking down to where the lava flow meets the ocean at night, we were completely entranced. We also took your advice and drove north along the coast, taking in all the sights and experiences that we possibly could. Nearing the end of our week and much to our surprise we arrived at the Hapuna Prince Hotel near Kona that you had booked for us. This was one of the nicest hotels/resorts that either of us had ever stayed in, which was exactly what we needed as we winded down from an incredibly fast-paced week of exploring and sight-seeing. We were finally able to spend a little time on the beach and just unwind a little. The last part of our trip wrapped up on Oahu as we journeyed back to “civilization” for the first time in about a week. We got to experience some of the night life in Waikiki and then explore a little bit of Oahu the next day, which was no less beautiful than any of the other islands. It was definitely a good ending to the trip, and somewhat eased our transition back to reality! Basically, here I sit two weeks later and my head is still spinning and trying to comprehend all the amazing things that we got to experience during our magical trip just a short time ago. On top of all of the sightseeing we were truly blessed with meeting some amazing people, sharing some life-changing conversations, and experiencing a little flavor of the culture on each of the four islands we went to. Like I said, the only thing we would change would be spending more time in each place! We are currently trying to figure out when we can come back, and just may look into living there someday! Again, we sincerely want to thank you so much for all that you have done for us Ashley. I hope that other people will continue to have such amazing and life-enriching experiences with your help. Please let us know if we can provide you with any other details about our trip that would help you guys in any way. Take care! Jonathon Mefford Wendy Sudsinsunthorn |

June 8, 2009 - Aloha Ka lei, well our Hawaiian Cruise Vacation was fantastic and we owe it all to you for being our travel agent. Everything worked liked clock work, the flights to and from were on time and the transfers from the airport, hotel, and pier were all on time. The location of our state room(Cabin) was excellent and the "Birthday Cake with the Champagne was waiting for us when we got to our state room. Everything you did to get us a great Vacation Package/Cruise was outstanding! If we have to use a travel agent again, rest assured it will be you. We enjoyed our first cruise very much and the NCL was just the greatest. We didn't get the chance to meet you in person, but we do hope we can stay in touch with you. Aloha&Mahalo Joseph & Renate Najar |

June 3, 2009 - Hi Abby, My wife and I loved Hawaii. It was the first vacation we'd taken in several years, but it was well worth the wait. The Hawaii Prince was first rate; good call on your part. We enjoyed the cruise very much. Our room was wonderful, but we feel the service could have been better. For instance, no one on the ship told us that occupants of rooms such as ours could eat breakfast and lunch at one of the specialty restaurants instead of utilizing the buffet and room service. The Feast at Lele luau was another great call on your part. It was fabulous - one of the high points of our trip. Our seats couldn't have been better; we were front row middle. We also greatly enjoyed our horseback ride at Princeville Ranch stables. It was one of the best we've ever done - a unique experience. We had a wonderful time, and could have used another week there; there's so much to do and see. Thanks for everything you did to make this trip a success. We're completely satisfied. Mahalo, Homer |

June 2, 2009 - Hi Jessie Man we wish we were still in your part of the country. What a truly amazing place to visit especially for a honeymoon. We started our trip in Honolulu at Waikiki Beach. We stayed at the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel. No complaints there. Very nice people, nice and clean rooms and a great outdoor breakfast. We did the Pearl Harbor Tour and that was really interesting. After that we had a tour of the city of Honolulu which was very educational and interesting to hear about some of the attractions and buildings. We stayed there for 2 days which was plenty. We didn't like the commercial feel of the city so much but we had to do the Pearl Harbor Tour. My recommendation is to visit Honolulu for 1 day and then head on to Maui. Which brings me to Maui....... PARADISE CITY TIMES 20!!!! We stayed at the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa and that was unreal. We toured the Road to Hana which had a lot of waterfalls and swimming pools. Very cool if you like the outdoors like we do. Also, snorkeled right out in the ocean next to the Black Rock. 40-50 snorkelers all day long out there. There are 2 BIG Sea Turtles out there and beautiful fish and coral to view. We snorkeled three different times while we were there. We also did the Sunrise Bike Tour at Haleakala Crater. UNBELIEVABLE SUNRISE!!! Probably the best in the world. Very cold at about 10,000ft above sea level then you bike back down the mountain about 15 miles. We recommend this for sure. Mama's Fish House is the best restaurant we ate at. Pricy but worth it. You have to go there if you are in Maui!!! Period! We had an unforgettable Honeymoon with a lot of memories from Hawaii and I definitely recommend going. Also, our travel agent, Jessie from Hawaii Aloha-Travel was the most caring and professional agent anyone could ask for. She was always available to answer any questions....and I had a lot. She was very knowledgeable about all the things to do in Hawaii and we now know who to call if we need any travel help in the future. These days it is hard to find someone who cares about their clients the way Jessie took care of us and for that we will always be thankful! We highly recommend that if you are planning a trip to Hawaii, give Hawaii Aloha-Travel a call and ask for Jessie. She will definitely help you out! All the best, Jody and Maija Todd (Greensboro, NC) |

May 29, 2009 - I want to tell you that we thoroughly enjoyed our Hawaiian cruise vacation. Your suggestions were great and we deeply appreciate your patience with us while we tried to decide what we should do and where. We took your advice on the excursions and we’re so glad we did. The Old Lahaina Luau was fabulous in every way! We rented a Harley Davidson for a day on Maui and rode over 200 miles. The road to Hana was awesome on motorcycle with breathtaking views. It’s interesting how the island is so different from one side to the other. Your pick for the place to do a helicopter tour with Will Squires was right on too on Kaua'i. They offered us an opportunity to purchase a video of our actual flight and we bought that as well. We did a lot of exciting things while we were there last week adding a submarine, Pearl Harbor and Honolulu city tours to the things I listed above. You were absolutely right in saying why spend all that money to go to Hawaii and miss out on the chance of a lifetime to see the true beauty of the islands. We took full advantage of everything that was there for us and we are so grateful that you were there to guide us in the right direction. Bruce Riggins |

May 25, 2009 - Kalei Our trip to Hawaii was more than fantastic! The plane ride, the roomy vehicle and the fabulous suite were so grand. We cannot express our appreciation for the wonderful job you did. Our trip was perfect, lovely and just plain wonderful. If we return next year, we will contact you again. Just one thing – the vehicle was booked for an extra day which was paid for. How would be go about obtaining the extra day for which we didn’t need? Trip ended on Saturday yet the car was booked through Sunday. Please advise. Again, thank you for the excellent service. Mahalo Mahalo Mahalo Yvonne, Joan and Carla |

May 11, 2009 - Kalei, Just wanted to thank you for all the wonderful arrangements you made for our trip to Hawaii. Everything worked out so well! The hotels/condos were excellent choices and we enjoyed every one of them, especially the Outrigger Waipouli on Kauai. What an elegant facility! Even though the weather was very cool and windy, we just HAD to swim in their fantastic river pool, and it was great. The Wyland Waikiki was in a super location, and very beautiful. The Royal Kahana on Maui was also nice and had a great pool, too, but could have used an a/c vent in the bathroom. The flights and car rentals all went smoothly, as did the transfers in Waikiki. I'm sooooooo glad I let you take over our arrangements. It made for a much less stressful trip, not having to worry about every little detail. So thank you again for all you help and patience in booking our trip. It was all we had hoped for and so much more. I'm sure you'll be hearing from us again. Sincerely, Bob & Georgia Wellons Orlando, FL. |

May 10, 2009 - Thank you so much for putting together such a wonderful trip. It was better than I could have ever imagined. We all had a wonderful time. Everything went very smooth. The excurtions were great, including the Blue Water Rafting trip. I would highly recommend this trip to future customers. It is also possible, according to our Captain, to request a specific crew. Our crew absolutely made the trip. Our Captain's name was Aaron and our First Mate was Ceddie. They were a blast! Thanks again Kalei! Rochelle |
