"This is a budget Sheraton offering in Hawaii. A huge property and great for convention goers. Needs a renovation so don't expect the same quality as some of the other Sheratons in Hawaii. Good location."

A beautiful resort-hotel built on the former estate of Princess Kaiulani, the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel offers a luxurious and exciting vacation experience in the heart of Waikiki. The hotel is composed of three buildings, the Ainahau Tower, the Princess Wing, and the Kaiulani Wing. All guestrooms in the Ainahau Tower and the Kaiulani Wing feature private balconies; smoking accommodations are available in these two buildings as well. All of the 1142 rooms and suites feature signature Sheraton beds with premium linens, air conditioning, mini refrigerators, and coffee makers. High-speed internet access is available for a daily fee of $14, and guests participating in the resort charge receive daily internet access free of charge.

An on-site fitness facility makes it easy to maintain a personal fitness regimen, and nearby Kapiolani Park is perfect for a daytime run. Visitors looking to spend some time in the sun can relax poolside or take advantage of “Big Kahuna Beach Service” and take towels and beach chairs down to nearby Waikiki Beach for the day.

11,500 square feet of function space and an experienced hospitality staff make the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani an ideal venue for corporate functions and social events. Guests staying at the hotel are invited to take part in a variety of cultural and historical activities honoring the only princess born to the Kalakaua dynasty. Cultural activities include pineapple carving, lei making, hula lessons, Hawaiian quilting classes, ukulele lessons, and sessions with local crafters and artisans. Guests looking for casual, on-site dining can visit Pikake Terrance or Splash Bar and Bento, a tropical poolside bar with a daily happy hour. Those looking for a more festive dinner can check out “Creation-A Polynesian Journey”, a lavish and exciting show capturing the essence of the Polynesian culture.

Guests staying at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani may also choose to take part in the “Stay at One Dine at All” program and visit three additional resort properties in the Waikiki area. Numerous other bars, restaurants, and nightclubs are within minutes of the hotel on Kalakaua Avenue, and several popular shopping destinations can be found along the same route. The Honolulu Zoo, Kapiolani Park, and the Waikiki Aquarium can easily be reached on foot, and Pearl Harbor, Iolani Palace, and many other famous historic destinations are within 15 miles of Waikiki. Self-parking is available at the hotel.
