Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach
The Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach hotel was really a very pleasant experience for me. The employees of this hotel really make you feel welcome from the very start.
As we arrive at the hotel early for check in I ask if they would hold my bags for me while I went to a meeting and I would come back and check in. Of course they were more than happy to assist me with that, but the guy out front was a real local guy who really just made you feel welcome.
Upon going up the escalator to the lobby area there was another nice young man there to greet me even before I made it to the check in desk area. They had nice cold water set up for their guests and their check in area you go up and sit down at the desk with an agent. That was a really nice touch. Makes you feel welcome. They also gave my son a cute backpack with a pair of sunglasses , a book and some binoculars that he enjoyed.
Right after checking in we didnt’ even go to our room yet and the nice young boy mentioned above asked us if we wanted to join in on the cookie making.
We were there in december and they were doing christmas cookie decorating with the kids , and adults could join in too. They do activities with the guests every day it’s something different. The nice thing that he told me was…well it’s raining outside so we thought we would give the kids something to do in doors for a little while. It’s all free and they do it out of the kindness of their hearts not to make a quick buck off their guests. He then said well let’s make kukui nut bracelets..i’ll get the things and we made bracelets as well.

The rooms here were a nice size and very hawaiiana decor. The bathroom was very big and the desk area was very comfortable. In fact many days I worked at the desk with the door open hearing the sounds of the ocean in the background.

They have duke’s bar and grill downstairs on the ground floor which is a very popular place to go for a drink or even a meal, a seattle’s best coffee downstairs, a little store for snacks and drinks and any other little trinkets, a jewlery store, a bathing suit shop and other little stores in the downstairs area.
All in all I really did enjoy my stay at the outrigger waikiki on the beach The employees sincerely make you feel welcome and glad that you came to stay with them. You can stay here doing an air/land package with us or even in our exclusive all inclusive carefree package.
