32ND ANNUAL CULTURAL FESTIVAL (Big Island)

When:Saturday, July 14, 2012 9am-3pm

Where: Big Island – Volcano Art Center Niaulani Campus, 19-4074 Old Volcano Rd.

This free event features an outdoor hula performance by Hala Na Pua O Uluhaimalama, as well as a hands-on cultural demo. Bring a sitting mat and sun/rain gear.

PAIA MANTOKUJI MISSION OBON FESTIVAL (Maui)

Where: Maui – Paia Mantokuji Mission, 5636 Hana Hwy.

Traditional Okinawan Obon festival. “Obon” literally means lantern festival; hence, the colorful hanging lights that cast a glow over the event. Enjoy this cultural celebration with none other than andagi, an Okinawan donut.

NORTH SOUTH EAST WEST FESTIVAL (Maui)
