Nice to see my old stomping grounds... I worked on that road for a while for a local spam king, but who is actually a really nice guy... I'll not say who, but he has an office building there on that road. I used to look at parts of that canal everyday as I drove in to work, and then again at lunch as ate on the steps outside... I never thought of it as a nature preserve, but, yep - there were some cool birds every now and again. And, yes - those birds are waiting for the traffic to slow before they cross! :) Vern Wow!
