We have stopped over in San Francisco, LA, Portland and Seattle. I just keep picking places I've never been. Any of them give you a nice break before crossing the ocean. I've come to prefer the smaller airports and now avoid LA but that's just for the airport experience, not for the actual flight. Aloha Nan!
