It's quite cool to drive it! Yes, I got dizzy - but, it was very worth it. Same with the trip up Haleakala - which I see you have an article about here too - I'll check out in a minute. I like the driving experience... Being able to stop along the way. Negotiating the I stop/you stop routines because the road is only big enough for one car at a time... a great ride. I do understand what you're saying though... and if I was on my trip of a lifetime I'd definitely consider that. Helicopter rides in Maui are amazing... did them too!
