On Oahu I climbed about 10 trails that lead to the summit and give a great view of the Kailua area. Tantalus. Kuli'ou'ou, and many I can't remember now. Right on Bruce - Hawaii offers some amazing hikes... it's fun to find strawberry guava... mountain apples (rose apples), guava, mangoes, all kinds of things to eat on the way... Here in Thailand we have a few places to hike - yesterday I went up Hang Nak mountain - a very nice view. Comparable with some of the ridge climbs on Oahu... but Oahu has the most cool trails I've ever climbed. Are there many forest trails on Big Island? Kauai? I took the Hana-Waianapanapa Trail to reach the awesome Waianapanapa Caves. I highly recommend it. One of the best hikes I ever did was on Maui.
