		<description>Trade winds blow the vog to Kona.  No trades means less vog in kona , more vog on other islands, like Oahu.  Kona winds are rarer, stormy winds that also clear out the vog.   Don&#039;t know where your info is from, but you should check it.</description>

		<description>Very nice explanation.

I remember seeing something on the Travel Channel a few years ago that had a nice graphic on the concept of the Trade Winds and how the early Polynesians who discovered the islands by following these winds right to them.  I thought that was pretty interesting when I saw that.</description>
