		<description>Trade winds blow the vog to Kona.  No trades means less vog in kona , more vog on other islands, like Oahu.  Kona winds are rarer, stormy winds that also clear out the vog.   Don't know where your info is from, but you should check it.</description>

		<description>Very nice explanation.

I remember seeing something on the Travel Channel a few years ago that had a nice graphic on the concept of the Trade Winds and how the early Polynesians who discovered the islands by following these winds right to them.  I thought that was pretty interesting when I saw that.</description>
