I think it defeats the  object of a totaly unspoilt island somehow. I can understand that the animal population is getting out of control after all it's a small island  and a cull is necessary ( im not against killing animals for their meat )  But surely it would be better to cull the animals  and ship it to the neighbouring islands and make an income for the Niihau islanders . or perhaps they make more money through hunting ?
