Aloha Hawaiian Vacations by Ashley

Hi Ashley,

I just wanted to drop you a quick line and thank you for setting up our trip to Hawaii.  It was fantastic!!  We LOVED the Pride of America.  The negative reviews I read on the internet couldn’t have been further from the truth.  Our room was immaculate, and the crew couldn’t have been nicer.  EVERYONE was wonderful. 

We ate at a couple of the specialty restaurants on the ship, The Lazy J steakhouse and Little Italy, they were both great.  The main dining room was great too.  The freestyle cruising worked well for us because we rented a car on each island and went exploring on our own, so it was nice to not have to be back for dinner at a certain time.

The weekly car rental worked really well, but we probably could have gotten away without a car in Kona and Kauai.  There was enough to do at both of those piers that we could have done without a car.  It was still nice to have it though to drive around the island.   You really do need one on Maui for sure. 

All in all, it was a great trip and I’m sure we’ll be doing it again in the hopefully not too distant future.
