You will board a luxury coach as it ascends to the Summit of Haleakala (10,023 foot elevation) and there you will experience a spectacular sunrise from Haleakala’s crater rim with a stunning view of cinder cones and volcanic features in the crater bowl. One of Maui’s most popular tour companies will provide an informative journey through Haleakala National Park filled with fascinating Polynesian history and Haleakala legends narrated by experienced tour guides.

Upon leaving the National Park, you will meet up with Maui Downhill at the Haleakala Ranch (6,500 foot elevation) and there you will begin your unforgettable Bike Safari. This bike tour gently descends down the exciting 21 switchbacks on the western slopes of Haleakala and you will be able to take in full bi-coastal panoramas of Maui’s central valley and West Maui Mountains with photo stops to capture Maui’s beautiful landscape and the open range of Haleakala Ranch.

Bike through eucalyptus forests and the upcountry community of Kula with its beautiful lavender farms and Jacaranda tree lined roadways. Relax at a no-host stop with snacks and meals* available at the Sunrise Market and Flower Farm. *The cost of meal is not included in the tour.

Your luxury downhill bicycle/van tour combo concludes with a Safari Van tour from Pukalani to the sea with information and history of Maui’s Sugar Cane and Pineapple plantation days.
