Hawaii - The Humpback Whales are Here & I Have Proof :)

Ok, perhaps I am a little over excited about this but I just can’t help it.  In the winter of 07-08 I saw humpback whales nearly every day.  This winter however they have not been as abundant on the North Shore of Oahu.  In November we saw our first spray on the horizon and so we knew the whales were out there but for those of us who are used to seeing them breaching it was frustrating for me that I was only seeing spray! :)

Well this past week we were watching the Sunset at Sunset Beach and FINALLY saw some whale action.  Although I haven’t gotten a full breech picture - here are some whale tales :) and these were taken just from sitting on the beach!
