Hawaii Vacation for the Holidays…Book NOW

It may be just the beginning of August but travelers should be thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas already.

Airlines are making every effort to offest the cost of oil and one method is by reducing the number of flights.  Think of the law of supply and demand - if the airlines are cutting back on flights there will be fewer seats left in the sky but still the same amount of passengers wanting those seats.

USA Today reports that by this fall there will be 9% fewer flights than last year leaving fewer seats and more expensive prices.  The sooner you book your trip the better your chances of getting the better fares.

In years past, airlines would often offer big sales on holiday seats sometime during the fall — though not usually for peak holiday travel days.  This year, with fewer seats available, and many fewer flights each day to some popular leisure destinations, waiting for that fare sale is a big gamble.

Keep in mind that the airlines reserve the right to make schedule changes to your reservations.  It’s a good idea to check with the airline periodically to double check your flight times.  Sometimes the flight times wil be changed and customers will be leaving earlier or later than they expected and of course it would be helpful to know in advance.

The flights that fill up the fastest are going to be the ones to popular are going to be the ones to popular destinations and Hawaii definitely is high on that list.  My recommendation surely is to make your reservations as soon as possible.

Most reservations booked with Hawaii Aloha Travel can be secured with a deposit between $50-100 per person and the remaining balance due 35-60 days prior to travel.
