The Exclusive Cabana at Waikiki
The Cabana at Waikiki Hotel, Waikiki’s only all gay hotel catering exclusively to the sophisticated gay and lesbian traveler. Located off the beaten path yet close to it all, the Cabana is a gay owned and operated four story fifteen unit upscale property perfectly situated on Cartwright Street — a quiet respite off Kapahulu Avenue. The property is on the quiet end of Waikiki near the zoo and Hula’s Bar and Lei Stand, one of the most popular and famous gay bars in town.

The Cabana is less tha tone block from world renowned Waikiki Beach. The goal at the Cabana is to provide personal attention in a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. It’s a place where you can relax, make friends, and enjoy all the amenities the newly remodeled one-bedroom suites have to offer.
The Hotel has 15 one-bedroom suites decorated in a tropical style. Each suite features a queen-size bed in the bedroom and an Asian styled day bed in the living room. All rooms have TV/ CD players/ and VCR’s. The TV’s have cable. The Kitchenette has a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, blender, dishware, glassware, and silverware. In addition all rooms have private bathrooms, a private lanai, ceiling fans, air-conditioning and come with daily maid service.
The Ali’i Suites feature a larger upgraded bathroom with wall mounted telephones and hairdryers, and if your plans including bringing your laptop computer the Ali’i Suites include free DSL Internet access.
All of the suites are non-smoking rooms. Guests who do smoke are asked to please do so only on their Lanai’s.
The hotel has a tropical landscaped verandah where a complimentary continental breakfast featuring fresh fruits, yogurts, muffins and Hawaii’s own Kona Coffee are served. The verandah is also where complimentary tropical cocktails are served several times throughout the week. .A soothing clothing optional spa, large enough to accommodate 8 is open every night until 10 pm. In addition; all guests have free access to Max’s 24-hour gym. Limited parking is available for a minimal fee and may only be requested upon check in. A tours and activities desk is conveniently located in the hotel.
