A special day at the beach in Haleiwa…
Several months ago I wrote a blog about seeing spinner dolphins near Waimea Bay on the North Shore of Oahu because I was just so excited about the beauty of the experience! Well, just yesterday it happened again but this time instead of 100’s of dolphins it was 1 honu, a small Hawaiian green turtle that crawled on shore to greet us & I think the photos I’m sharing with you below speak for themselves. It was definitely a ‘lucky you live Hawaii’ moment. Right now I’m dealng with preparing myself for the death of someone I love very much & the hour we spent with this turtle boosted my spirits & re-energized my faith in the circle of life & spirit of all things. AND this was something we did for FREE just down the road from our house at a public beach - how awesome!
