A High-Energy Vacation in Waikiki
If you are looking for a high-energy vacation destination, Waikiki is the place to be. Located on the southern shore of Oahu, Waikiki is known for its spectacular beaches, high-end shopping, and fabulous night life. No matter where you stay in Waikiki, you you're bound to be less than a five minute leisurely walk to the beach, so throw on some sandals and head towards Kalakaua Avenue to explore all Waikiki has to offer. Spend your days visiting the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, U.S. Army Museum, and numerous other attractions. If you're ready for something a little more strenuous, opt for a hike to the top of Diamond State Monument, a stroll down the Waikiki Historic Trail, or a rigorous surf lesson right in the center of Waikiki.
Venture off the Beaten Path in Oahu
Although Waikiki Beach is located on Oahu, you can have a spectacular Hawaiian vacation without setting foot in the fast-paced tourist destination. Many spectacular hikes and historic areas are easily accessible via rental car or city bus and are less than an hour drive from any point of origin. While on Oahu you can see and experience everything Hawai‘i has to offer including the famous surfing destinations on Oahu's North Shore, the USS Arizona Memorial and other wartime memorials, several well-known and not-so well-known historic sites, and hundreds of gorgeous island views that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
Explore Volcanoes on the Big Island of Hawaii
Believe it or not, the Big Island of Hawaii is still growing, and you can witness the landscape changing before your very eyes with a visit to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Situated just 30 miles southwest of Hilo is Kilauea Volcano, one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Aside from an active volcano, the park boasts over 100 miles of hiking trails, ancient petroglyphs, a natural lava tube, and a volcanology museum. Although the lava flows are not visible from the heart of the national park, visitors can safely watch the lava empty into the sea at Puu Oo vent at Kalapana. If you were hoping for a closer look at the volcanic activity, we can arrange for a helicopter tour that circles Kilauea and zeroes in on the volcano's most active areas.
Experience Hawaii's Natural Beauty in Kauai
Kauai is the oldest and northernmost island in the Hawaiian Island chain, and is known for its astounding natural beauty. You can't visit Kauai without a visit to Waimea Canyon, a majestic canyon on the west end of the island. Although the massive rift is not as big as Arizona's Grand Canyon, the 14 mile canyon offers breathtaking panoramic views and is the only geographical formation of its kind in Hawaii. Next, pack your bags and hop aboard a boat tour to the Napali coast to view the pointed cliffs and impressive terrain that is unique to Kauai's north shore. Other unique outdoor areas include Wailua Falls, Maniniholo Dry Cave, and the National Tropical Botanical Garden. Much of Kauai's magnificent outdoor terrain cannot be accessed via traditional roadways, but we can arrange helicopter and boat tours that will allow you to explore some of the most beautiful and secluded areas on Earth.
Experience Variety in Maui
If you're looking to do a little bit of everything on your Hawaiian vacation, Maui is the place to be. With a wide variety of natural landscapes, a great social scene, and several historical sites that shaped the future of Hawaii, Maui offers a great introduction to the Hawaiian Islands. If you're looking for a little bit of adventure, opt for a bike ride down Mount Haleakala, a hike into the rainforest, or a zip-line tour through the jungle canopy. If you're in the mood to stay close to the hotel, indulge in a spa treatment or spend a day at one of the island's many spectacular golf courses. Aside from being a great vacation destination, Maui is also famous for its humpback whale sightings and offers numerous whale watching tours and excursions.
Escape to Luxury on Lanai and Tranquility on Molokai
The small island of Lanai offers two beautiful and upscale resorts with luxurious amenities and accommodations. Whether you are planning a romantic getaway or a relaxing and serene vacation, Lanai is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you are looking to get close to nature and experience Hawai‘i as it was 50 years ago, the undeveloped island of Molokai is the destination for you. Without a single traffic light or skyscraper, this quiet and intimate island is the ideal destination for hikes, fishing, mule rides, and peaceful outdoor exploration.
