The islands of Hawaii are notorious for their supernatural activity; the ancient spiritual presence is not only acknowledged by the local people, it is revered and feared. Since the beginning of Hawaiian culture, a sense of spirituality was engrained; from their religious gods and goddesses to their ancestors and the dead, the local people maintain a respect for the paranormal that is sincere and raw.
At Oahu Ghost Tours, there are three different tours that are offered (Honolulu City Haunts, Orbs of Oahu, and Sacred Spirits). Each tour is distinct and non-scripted, with guides who believe in the manifestation of the spirits from both the past and the present. Every tour guide has experienced supernatural activity and holds a deep admiration for their ancestors’ culture. They take tour groups to some of Oahu’s (if not Hawaii’s) most haunted locations, including old hospitals that detained sick children from World War II, ceremonial and sacrificial heiaus (Hawaiian temples), and infamous places where the much feared Night Marchers have been sighted.

Honolulu City Haunts Walking Tour
Honolulu City Haunts Tour- $34/adult, $29/child. Approximately 2-2.5 hours
On this one-mile walking tour (wear your comfortable shoes!) you will traverse around downtown Honolulu to several haunted locations. From the ancient monarchy to modern day murders, these settings evoke an unsettling feeling that stems from both history and contemporary creepiness.
Orbs of Oahu Tour- $54/adult, $43/child (12&up). Approximately 4-4.5 hours
The spookiest tour offered, Orbs of Oahu is a driving tour that takes you to some of the most disturbing places in all of the islands. Located at the southern most point of Oahu, you will explore modern day haunts that exist from severe historical events. You will also visit the legendary Morgan’s Corner, made famous in folklore and books. Here the tour group will walk to the road where the suicide of a young girl from the Morgan’s residence took place. This has been known to stir up terror in any visitor.
This tour is not recommended for children under the age of 12 due to its intensity.
Sacred Spirits Tour- $56/adult, $43/child. Approximately 5 hours
For those wanting to experience ancient Hawaii, this award-winning tour will take you to the dwelling places of the spirits, including Pele the fire goddess, the malicious Menehunes, and the royal Hawaiian ancestors’ final resting places. The tour will educate members on the brutal overthrow of the Hawaiian monarchy as well as take you to Oahu’s most sacred spots of the native Hawaiian people. It is recommended to bring comfortable walking shoes and a towel for this tour.
Pickups are arranged based on tour dates and times. Cameras are highly suggested. Be prepared for whatever unsettling events may occur. Parents please use your discretion when bringing children along on tours.
